About the Navy League of the United States
The Navy League of the United States is a civilian organization dedicated to informing the American people and their government that the United States of America is a maritime nation and that its national defense and economic well-being are dependent upon strong sea services – United States Navy, United States Marine Corps, United States Coast Guard and United States Merchant Marine.
As part if its mission focus, the Navy League of the United States :
Enhances the morale of the sea service personnel and their families through national and council level programs.
Is a powerful voice to educate the public and Congress of the importance to our nation’s defense, well-being and economic prosperity.
Supports youth through programs that expose young people to the values of our sea services.
